Try my 3 ingredients Vietnamese mayo recipe!

Vietnamese Mayo⤵️

3 egg yolks
1 cup vegetable oil
1/2 tsp garlic salt

You can do this by hand or with a machine (food processor, hand held/ stand mixer. This takes some time so your hands will be sore if you chose to do it that route

1. Mix 3 egg yolks until slightly foamy/ you start to see bubbles. You won’t see a lot of bubbles… probably 4 or 5

2. Once you start to see a little bit of bubbles, pour in a little bit of vegetable at a time… like 1 TBSP at a time. And blend. Do this until all of your vegetable oil is gone. Blend for 1-2 minutes in between each oil pour

3. Once your oil is all gone, add 1/2 tsp garlic pour and blend until well combined. Enjoy mayo with Vietnamese styler sandwiches or any kind of sandwich

  8. @bepbe11 says:

  9. The crazy face gets me every time! 🤪😂❤️

  10. @lazarus921 says:

I guess white people kind is supposed to be derogatory since everyone in US loves sh**ing on whites.
But it's funny because your version doesn't have any seasoning. No salt, no lemon juice to break that taste, no mustard for slight nutty hint.
Since French invented mayonnaise, call it french or original version.
Otherwise for consistency sake you should call your version brown people kind.
Since you haven't added any lemon juice or vinegar it didn't emulsified it, too create this silky consistency. What you did is runny, garlicky omelet in a jar.

  11. the white people's kind? 😂

  12. Can I use fresh garlic instead of garlic powder 🤔
    Asking for a friend 🤭

  28. @zaharia6572 says:

I.m white, but that's the same way I make mayo(i don't always add the garlic powder).
In my country also for holidays we make a french salad with chicken, boiled vegetables and mayo. And for that purpose when making the mayo, we add an extra hard boiled egg yolk and lemon.

  35. oh? we do it like this in romania too, but some people use mustard instead of garlic, instead of vegetable oil we mainly use sunflower oil and last but not least, we add just a little bit of lemon juice, we mix it until it is very light at colour, smooth and creamy :p i can't eat it by it's self but in my opinion it goes well with boiled/roasted potatoes 😋

  36. @maryliz28 says:
