  1. I am so excited to work on my canning skills. This is a fond memory for me with my grandmother. She used to can peaches and beets. She would make relish and different types of pickles. My job was to peel the peaches after they were blanched. It was so hot but I was being conditioned for touching fried chicken in the grease when I was older! LOL. I also just started a journey of eating no "processed" food so I was looking for ways to make my own sauces and I knew exactly where to look. Thank you again for creating amazing and fresh content.

  15. Thank you for posting this video. I made some tomato sauce a week ago. Followed the directions and from what I can see, one jar has a white foam building up in the center. The other jars don’t have this. Should I toss out the entire jar to resuse it or just the sauce?

  16. Hi nanaaba thank you for sharing this video I will probably watch it again just to be sure I get it right 👍🏾

  30. Please did you get the jars from pls

  31. @Hissage says:

FYI… when making tomatoes sauce do not use a blender . You need to use the appropriate food mill so no seeds or peel goes in the jars . Both seeds and peel cause bitterness in the sauce . So after cooking the tomatoes for one hour you use the food mill . Only the sauce will go trough and none of the seeds and peel . Also when you restrict the sauce you might need two hours uncovered so it’s more dense and has a better taste .

  32. After watching your video, thank you for making it. I just wanted to add that canned foods and jarred sauces such as yours can last in dry storage a lot longer than a year. I still have a couple of jarred tomatoe sauce I got in 2019. Canned foods that are not damage never go bad.
