Plus, you don’t have to heat up your kitchen or use any special equipment!

    For the most part my parents didn't let the cucumbers or squash get huge instead they picked them for eating but there were 8 of us.

    Why do you think old generation are healthy ?
    Those days we use less pesticide
    Never did use steroids

  10. Redmonds actually does have iodine among other minerals. Doesn't iodine help with thyroid health?

  11. ok, mine all got real cloudy and smell and taste …. not good. I really hope this isnt what these are supposed to taste like, think something went wrong.

    Gotta love the fly helpers in your kitchen….. do you add them to the jar before or after ? 🤣😂😁

  14. Being in Canada, that's my go to in fermenting older Cucumbers. You can remove the seeds and add long cut slices of peppers and carrots. The carrots are so good. Make sure to smash your garlic.

    Just coming back in here to let you know that i did a jar up this way a couple weeks ago and they are DE-LISH! Nice way for a grandma to make a jar or two at a time when the cucs from her little greenhouse are ready. Yummy and so nice to know they're pro-biotic goodness. Thank you, Jill!

    Can you water bath them after they've finished fermenting to make them shelf stable?
