    Adding mustard to homemade mayo is disgusting, it's too overpowering no matter what anyone says about it being lost in the background. Nope, I can taste it slightly and it's disgusting and ruins everything it touches.

  3. This recipe was bulshit. Exact same ingredients exact same blender and quantity turned out to just be a semi thick disgusting crap that inly tastes of pure olive oil. This is bullshit dont do this they cut the crap out of this making process the power of editing

  7. You dont need mustard persé, also add the salt later. It destroys the egg proteins.

  9. If you are reading this comment, DO NOT DO THIS AT HOME! I REPEAT. DO NOT DO THIS AT HOME!!
    I decided to follow this recipe last week and now I got Salmonella for 3 days already. DO NOT DO THIS! There's a reason Department of Agriculture is highly against it and recommends to just buy one in the store. The eggs they use in the show are thoroughly checked and we do not know what is in our eggs. DO NOT MAKE YOUR OWN MAYO!
    FU MasterChef.

  10. Sad thing is that I'm so used to store bought that I often prefer that, plus it lasts on the shelve. Sometimes I do make it myself though, with a stick blender, also using the whole egg. The great thing is that you can make it to taste.

    personally i would use the healthiest oil for mayonnaise rather than the most "neutral" or "flavorless". it's mostly fat and if i'm going to have it i'd rather compromise a bit on taste which will eventually be adapted for than make the compromise on my body. honestly my extra virgin olive oil mayo is fantastic.

  16. Hi , i follow your style , taste great , but once remove from refrigerated the next day , the mayonnaise is cold thick like stone , and turn back to liquid oil when defrost ? My refrigerated is 3•c cool , normal cooking oil and normal white vinegar . So may i know what i miss or mistaken ? Please correction me , Thanks x99

  18. I hate recipes that say…… a little more, a little more, a little more. He could have measured that oil as he was doing it and had a true measurement. Fail. It doesn't make him a great chef that he can pull it off just adding and adding, it just makes it unprepared as a tutorial.
