  12. As someone who received an bachelor's in culinary arts, you never knock something till you try it. Having said that, a little thyme and pepper wouldn't have hurt here lol. I think he's just making a tomato sauce that he can add other things to later.

  13. @BY-wb7og says:

Comments on something else said americas test kitchen did tests and found the skin and seeds add flavor so I'm leaving them in

  15. umm u didn't show what u did with the basil or at the end, did u have to smash the sauce or what

  16. @Piph17 says:

The tomato prep was the most helpful part. So many other videos started with canned tomatoes. That would normally be fine, but I'm specifically trying to use up extra fresh tomatoes.

  17. @chinh101 says:

Wtf , what about the basil and the garlic?

  18. Where’s the finished product!!!!!! 🤔☹️

  19. @12ezmac says:

That was not helpful at all. Did he put the seeded part in there? Didn’t show anything about what he did to make it more liquid. What a waste

Wish me luck! Let's see how this one turns out

  29. @arnoldm889 says:

My picky kids loved the sauce. Made a large batch and canned the extras. I did add some tomato paste to thicken it up and a hand blender to chop it up while cooking. I used a bunch different tomatoes from the garden including cherry tomatoes (I didn't seed the cherries but did skin them)

  30. Cooking is such a beautiful art
    I say it's humanity's greatest art form

  31. Aren't your missing some ingredients? Like Oregano?

  32. Thanks for this video. My parents gave me a whole box of tomatoes and didn't know what to do with it, so I decided why not make it into spaghetti sauces since my kids loves spaghetti. Much appreciated ❤.

  33. @lm900 says:

Dumb video! You're not a cook!

  34. Thank you for using a metal on metal >.>

  35. @hocksue says:

Wish they would of showed the sauce more.

  36. You cook the garlic until you can smell it in the air.

Oh… Okay, I can smell it when I peeled it, so it's good to go without cooking. Thank you.
