Maybe you’ve been talking to customers and have mapped out the customer journey. The next step is to create user flow diagrams to map out the customer experience.

What’s the best way to approach this process?

We’re sharing the process and mindset we use at Headway to better understand information architecture. Learn how to take user stories and turn them into feature lists and rough out what data is needed within the product.

In this presentation, Billy creates FigJam user flows, but you can apply these principles to any tool you use.

Hey guys, I got a bunch out of this video. Just wanted to say thank you. I've recently brought the process of mapping user flows into our initial roadmapping sessions and it's cool to get an in-depth look at how other agencies are handling the challenge.

  2. Thanks for the generous sharing! You definitely bring tons of value!

  3. I was once told that I should divide my flowchart into individual problems, because otherwise the whole process can be too confusing. e.g. forgotten password, login, these are 2 main problems.

  4. Thanks, great overview!

Thank you for this amazing tutorial!

  6. Sorry but this is a bad overview of UX Design. You just woffled and presented User Flows, Journeys, Personas and Goals in a really uncoordinated way. You say you've been doing this for 10 years yeah? Your work isn't at all user friendly and it's a mess.

  7. Video quality stuck at 360p.
